We share personal data only where necessary to deliver our services or as required by law, including with:

Service providers fulfilling your booking: airport taxi and transfer operators, airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and event partners.

A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of some or all of Moveezo's assets.

Moveezo does not sell your personal data. Where local law (such as the CCPA/CPRA) defines certain sharing arrangements as a “sale” or “share,” we provide the opt-out mechanisms described in Section 11.

9. International Data Transfers

Because Moveezo operates across 140+ countries, your personal data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries outside your own, including countries that may have different data protection laws. Where we transfer personal data out of the UK or the European Economic Area, we use recognised safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, an adequacy decision, or another lawful transfer mechanism, and we require our partners to protect your data to a standard consistent with this Policy.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide our services, meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Booking and transaction records are typically retained for the period required by applicable tax and consumer-protection law; account data is retained for as long as your account remains active, plus a reasonable period afterward. When personal data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymise it.

11. Your Privacy Rights

11.1 European Economic Area and United Kingdom

If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.

     Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.

Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”), subject to legal exceptions.

Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing.

Data portability, to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.

Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, or the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

11.2 United States

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal data we collect, request deletion, correct inaccurate data, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal data for targeted advertising. Moveezo does not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

11.3 Other Regions

Residents of other countries, including Canada, Australia, the UAE, India, and Gulf Cooperation Council states, may have similar rights under local data protection laws (such as PIPEDA, the Privacy Act 1988, or applicable regional data protection regulations). We honour applicable local rights on request.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@moveezo.com. We may need to verify your identity before actioning a request, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

12. Children's Privacy

Moveezo's services are intended for adults capable of entering into a legally binding booking and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 (or the minimum age defined by local law). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

13. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), restricted access controls, and secure payment processing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and while we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
